Gotham Steakhouse & Cocktail Bar
Gotham Steakhouse & Bar is a traditional steakhouse located in the heart of downtown, in one of Vancouvers few remaining art deco buildings. It has a bit of a unique personality that derives from its great name, current logo, and ‘sexy’, mysterious art deco decor.
The task was to rejuvenate a 16-year-old Vancouver Steakhouse to uplift the identity and give it a distinct personality that will resonate with our target consumer. Make Gotham Steakhouse the next ‘place to be’.
The logo was the first and most vital part of Gotham’s refresh. It was very important to have it reflect the vision of ‘classic elegance meeds modern art deco’. Incorporating Gothams various personalities into a seamless vision through colour, photography and graphics, created the lasting impression and feel good experience. I envisioned the logo before developing the website, stationery, menus, and social channels.
With loyal patrons to Gotham Steakhouse, the website design was the perfect platform to tell Gothams story. It featured an inside look at Gotham, their beloved staff and Gotham’s exceptional five star menu. To ensure consistent conversation at Gotham, we needed to create a strong social online integration through strong messaging, and authentic photography.
